TVoD, SVoD & AVoD: Here are the differences
- SVoD means "Subscription Video on Demand". This is a form of "video on demand" in which you can stream the videos and pay a monthly or yearly sum. So this is a subscription, such as B Amazon Prime.
- TVoD means "transactional video on demand". This principle is the opposite of a subscription. You pay for each content individually.
- Finally, there is AVoD, which means "advertising video on demand". With this streaming principle, you don't pay anything, but you have to watch some advertising.
