Twitter blacklist: hide tweets with defined words
In this article, we explain how to hide tweets with defined words using a Twitter blacklist.
Hide tweets via blacklist
In order to hide tweets with certain words on Twitter, you need a small help tool:
- Go to DeClutter. In the "Customize DeClutter" section below, enter the words in the text box that you want to appear on your personal Twitter blacklist.
- Then drag the "DeClutter Bookmarklet" link in the "Your bookmarklet" area to your bookmark list or bookmark toolbar.
- Alternatively, you can create a new bookmark. Then insert the code in the "Your bookmarklet" area in the new bookmark under "Address".
- Now go to Twitter and log in. Then click on the DeClutter bookmarklet you just created.
- The tweets that contain words from the blacklist are now hidden.
