Insert GIF in tweet - how it works on iOS
First, we'll tell you how to insert a GIF into a tweet using an iOS device:
- First select the tweet icon so you can start a new tweet. Then press the symbol for the camera. Now you can select a GIF from your device's memory.
- If you have no GIFs in the internal memory of your device, you can also select them from the library. To do this, you have to touch the 'GIF symbol'. You can then select a suitable GIF and insert it into the tweet.
- Finally, all you have to do is tweet your GIF as usual. Note: You can only send one GIF per tweet. In addition, you cannot tweet an image if there is already a GIF in the tweet.
Insert GIF in tweet - how it works on Android
If you have an Android device and send your tweets from it, read below how you can also use GIFs:
- First, start your tweet as usual by selecting the 'Write tweet' icon. Then select the camera. With Android you can also insert a GIF from the internal memory.
- If the GIFs from your device are not enough for you, you can also access the library of GIFs via an Android device. To do this, select the 'GIF' button.
- As soon as you have selected the right GIF, you can post your tweet.
- Note: You can also insert a GIF into a tweet using a browser on your PC. The procedure is identical to that already described. You can also access the library from your PC.
