Enable two-factor authentication for Twitter
Twitter makes it possible to carry out a confirmation via the cell phone number or app.
- First go to the cog in the top right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- You will find the registration confirmation under "Security and data protection" in the left menu.
- If you haven't added a phone number yet, you can do so using the "Add phone" link.
- After adding your phone, you will receive a verification code. Enter this to enable two-factor authentication.
- You will now be prompted for the security code when you log in from a third-party browser. This is either sent to your mobile phone via SMS or to the app by message.
