Ubuntu: Put quotes - Here's how
The quotation marks are hidden as special characters on Ubuntu. We show you how to get the typographic font symbols.
Quotation marks in Linux Ubuntu
Use the following keyboard combinations for the characters:
- Quotation marks (“): If you press the [Alt Gr] + [V] keys simultaneously, the double quotation mark appears.
- Quotation marks (“): You get this character with the key combination [Alt Gr] + [B].
- Single quotation mark (‚): The key combination [Alt Gr] + [Shift] + [V] creates the single quotation mark.
- Single quotation mark ('): Press the [Alt Gr] + [Shift] + [B] keys to get a single quotation mark.
