Calibrate the display under Ubuntu
With Ubuntu, you can calibrate your display and create a suitable color profile in just a few steps. To do this, proceed as follows:
- First open a new terminal with the key combination [CTRL] + [ALT] + [T].
- Then enter "unity-control-center" here and press [Enter].
- In the menu that opens, you must select the "Color" item.
- You can then select the monitor for which you want to carry out the calibration. Click on the "Calibrate ..." item. Then follow the instructions.
- You can also set a color profile for your monitor under "Add profile". To do this, select the appropriate profile from the drop-down menu and click "Add".
