Since version 18.04, Ubuntu has finally been able to handle emojis. This practical tip shows you how to insert the yellow smileys and other small pictures on the PC.

Anyone who uses Ubuntu is not necessarily a great friend of emojis. Nevertheless, the alternative operating system also remains on the cutting edge.
- You can insert the emojis in most programs using text input. For example, start "word processing".
- Simply right-click on an empty area in the text input and select the "Insert emoticon" option in the context menu.
- Alternatively, press the [Ctrl] and [.] Keys on the keyboard at the same time, so that the Emoji menu opens.
- Select the desired emoji here, it will be inserted directly into the text.
- From there, you can also copy or cut the emoji to paste it elsewhere.
