Install FFmpeg under Ubuntu - so it'll work
- Open the terminal under Ubuntu and enter "sudo apt-get install ffmpeg" there.
- Confirm with [Enter] - you may have to enter your password.
- Press [y] or [j] to start the download and installation. Then wait for the process to finish.
- If you use Ubuntu 14.04, you have to do without FFmpeg and choose an alternative.
- Use "sudo apt-get install libav-tools" to start the installation of Libav. This also includes the required packages and programs.
