Set up remote desktop on Ubuntu
A remote desktop connection can be set up on Ubuntu without much effort. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Open the console or the terminal.
- Install the "rdesktop" program with the "sudo apt-get install rdesktop" command.
- After downloading the program, all you have to do is start it.
- To do this, type "rdesktop Windows IP" in the console. However, replace "Windows IP" with the actual IP address of the computer you want to connect to.
- The connection is now established with [ENTER]. You only have to enter the login data of the Windows computer and the desktop opens.
