Ubuntu: Change location for screenshots
You can take screenshots in Ubuntu simply by pressing the [Print] button. The location of the images can be changed in a few simple steps, we will show you.

- If you press the [Print] button on Ubuntu, you take a screenshot.
- The screenshot will then be shown to you before it is saved.
- At this point, click the drop-down menu next to "Save to Folder" and choose your desired location.
- Finally click on "Save".
Ubuntu: Change default location
If you want to change the default location (usually the "Pictures" folder), open a terminal window:
- Enter the following command: "sudo apt-get install dconf-editor".
- Open the configuration editor with "dconf-editor".
- Navigate in the left bar over "org" and "gnome" to "gnome-screenshot".
- Next to "auto-save-directory" enter the desired path, ie your new location, eg "file: /// home / user / Desktop". Instead of "user" you have to enter your username.
- Finally, close the editor.
