Use WhatsApp on the Ubuntu Touch - so it'll work
Unfortunately, you cannot install WhatsApp on the Ubuntu Touch. To use the popular messenger on Ubuntu Touch, you first need a smartphone with which you have already installed WhatsApp Messenger and are logged in.
- First open the browser on your Ubuntu Touch Phone and navigate to "web.whatsapp.com". When the page opens, a QR code appears.
- Now take your smartphone at hand and open the menu> "WhatsApp Web". Now scan the QR code on your Ubuntu Phone.
- You are now automatically logged into the browser of your Ubuntu phone and can use WhatsApp under the account of the other smartphone.
- Check the box "Stay logged in" so that you don't have to repeat this step every time.
