Represent upside down question mark in Word
Here we show you how to display an inverted question mark, as is used in Spain, in Word.
Using the number pad to ¿
If you have a number pad on your keyboard, do the following:
- Press the "ALT" key and enter the numbers "168" one after the other on the number pad. The desired "¿" already appears.
Define your own key command for ¿
In Word you have the option to define a shortcut for any command or symbol.
- To do this, go to the "Insert" tab in Word and click on "Symbol" on the far right.
- A window opens under "Other symbols". Find the upside down question mark here (see picture).
- Now you can use the key combination button to define a shortcut that is convenient for you.
The tests were carried out under Word 2010 and Windows 7. We will clarify how to enter the per thousand sign in Word in the next practical tip.
