Easy upgrade: import Thunderbird contacts into Outlook
- Click on the "Address Book" in Thunderbird at the top and select "Export" from the menu bar under "Tools".
- Choose a location and a name for the file. Via the "Save" button, your contacts are exported to an LDIF file.
- Now open Outlook and click on the "Open and export" category under the "File" tab. Select the "Import / Export" option here.
- Click the "Next" button twice so that the options "Import from other programs or files" and "Separate values" select.
- Select the location of the file and click "Next" again. The contacts are then imported.
- Note: If the import of the contacts does not work properly, save the contacts in step 2 as a CSV file.
