If you fly with United Airlines within the USA, you can do the online check-in in advance and save yourself the long queue at the counter. In this practical tip we will show you how.

Online check-in at United Airlines - you have to consider that

• Online check-in starts 24 hours before departure. To do this, log in to the United Airlines website below with your booking number and last name. Alternatively, use the mobile website or the iOS app and Android app.
• After online check-in, you can print out your boarding card. Alternatively, simply save the barcode. This can also be used as a boarding card.
• Depending on the airport, you have to check in your luggage at the counter 30 to 60 minutes before departure. In most cases, the time limit is 45 minutes.
