Unitymedia: Set up a static / fixed IP address
To set up a fixed IP address at Unitymedia, only a few clicks are necessary. Find out exactly how to do this in this practical tip.
Set fixed IP at Unitymedia - you have to do that
- First enter "192.168.0.1." or "fritz.box" in the address bar of your browser and confirm with [Enter].
- If you have secured your router with a password, you must now enter this.
- Then click on "Home Network"> Home Network Overview "and then" Network Settings ".
- There you have to click on "IPv4 addresses". Then activate the "DHCP server" option.
- Go back to the "Home Network Overview" and click on "Network Connections".
- Here you can see a list of all devices that have connected to the router. Click on the pencil next to the address.
- Activate the option "Always assign the same IPv4 address to this network device" and save with "OK".
