Vegan Snickers: The Preparation
Allow enough time to prepare the “Snickers”. Because the bars have to be in the freezer for three to four hours in between.
- First line the mold with baking paper.
- Next, mix all the ingredients for the floor in a blender to a smooth dough. Then press the mass evenly into the mold.
- Now put all the ingredients for the caramel, except the peanuts, in your blender. Mix them into a smooth mass.
- Then lift the peanuts under the caramel and spread the mixture evenly on the "Snickers" floor.
- Now place the mold in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours.
- Melt the dark chocolate coating together with the coconut oil over a water bath.
- Take the "Snickers" out of the freezer. Cut the mass into 8 bars with a sharp kitchen knife. Tip: Cut them about 2.5 cm wide so that all bars are the same size.
- Dip the bars one at a time into the melted chocolate on a fork. Then place them on baking paper to harden.
- Then store the finished “Snickers” in a food storage container in the refrigerator.
