Make veggie burgers yourself - it's easy and healthy

Make veggie burgers yourself: quick, easy and delicious
Are you a vegetarian or do you want to reduce meat consumption at least one day a week? Great. Then we have the right recipe for a veggie burger that you don't just have to watch on barbecues. You need these ingredients for four veggie burgers:
- For the pattie: 125 milliliters of milk, 100 grams of oatmeal, one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of curry powder, 30 grams of flour, four tablespoons of rapeseed oil, one tablespoon of pumpkin seeds, two small carrots, two tablespoons of curd cheese
- For the burger: 150 grams of mixed salad (e.g. radicchio, endive, frisée), a mini cucumber, six tablespoons of yogurt, two tablespoons of mustard, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of lemon juice, salt, four burger buns
Preparation in just a few steps
If you have all the ingredients together, you can start preparing.
- In the first step, heat the milk for the patties and add 75 grams of oatmeal together with the salt, curry, flour, and a tablespoon of oil. Mix everything well, remove the mixture from the heat and let it swell for about 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, wash the salad thoroughly and pluck it into smaller parts. The cucumber is also washed and sliced.
- For the burger sauce, mix the yogurt with the mustard, honey, lemon juice and some salt.
- Chop the pumpkin seeds for the patties. Then peel and grate the carrots. Mix the two with the curd. The mass then comes to the oatmeal mixture. Mix everything well.
- With wet hands, form four patties from the mass, which you roll in the remaining oatmeal. Heat the rest of the oil in a pan, where you fry the patties until golden brown for three to four minutes on each side.
- Finally, add the salad with a tablespoon of the sauce to the halved burger bun. Put the finished pattie on top and garnish everything with the cucumber. Drizzle the rest of the yoghurt sauce on the bun lid. Good Appetite.
- Tip: Grilled cheese (feta) or breaded salmon is also ideal as a pattie (for all those who also eat fish as vegetarians).
