BlaBlaBus connections: These cities are approached
With its connections and low prices, BlaBlaBus competes with the previous market leader Flixbus. You can find out which cities travel to BlaBlaBus from us.
BlaBlaBus - Connections of the provider for long-distance bus trips
BlaBlaBus is a brand of the French company Blablacar, whose app is available for Android and iOS.
- While Blablacar previously provided carpooling opportunities, the company is now expanding its range of long-distance coach travel under the name BlaBlaBus.
- BlaBlaBus is supposed to be a cheap alternative to Flixbus.
- Like the previous top dog, Flixbus, BlaBlaBus does not operate its own fleet of buses. Instead, the French company also works with local bus companies that provide the vehicles and the drivers.
- The buses are said to offer some comfort. In addition to air conditioning and toilets, sockets and USB ports as well as free WiFi should be standard.
BlaBlaBus connections and prices
BlaBlaBus starts in Germany in June 2019.
- In the first week after the start, 20 destinations in Germany are to be approached.
- First of all, the cities of Berlin, Bielefeld, Bremen, Dortmund, Dresden, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Ingolstadt, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Nuremberg, Potsdam and Stuttgart belong to the BlaBlaBus route network.
- However, the connections are to be expanded very quickly. The goal is to expand the offering to 60 destinations by the end of 2019.
- With his introductory campaign, BlaBlaBus heralds a fierce price war among coach operators. For just 99 cents, you can get a ticket for a domestic German trip.
- It will certainly not stay at these prices. The introductory campaign ends in September. Fares will likely remain cheaper compared to Flixbus.
Flixbus also competes with Deutsche Bahn. You can find out which connections Flixtrain offers in our next article.
