- First check all cables and plugs and make sure that all connections are properly seated.
- In some cases, hum can come from poorly insulated cables. Therefore replace the cable.
- Also make sure that devices such as microwaves or wireless telephones are not placed near the amplifier.
- Also make sure that the amplifier gets enough fresh air and that it does not get too hot.
