Print directory from Windows Explorer
If you want to print out the directory from Windows Explorer, Windows does not offer any functions for this. You can still do this with the right software. We'll show you how it's done.
Print directory from Windows Explorer
- Download the free DirPrintOK program from us.
- Open the EXE file and follow the instructions in the installation. Then the program starts automatically.
- Similar to Windows Explorer, you can now click through the individual paths until you have reached the desired folder.
- Right-click on any file in the path so that the context menu opens. Move the mouse over the "Columns" item and then select "Adjust".
- Here you can now determine which information should appear on the printout. Among other things, you can show or hide the path, file size, creation date and file type.
- If you click on the "Print" button in the upper left corner of the window, you will first only receive a print preview.
- If you are not satisfied with this, you can once again determine the allocated space for the individual columns. This works in the program as well as in Windows Explorer by clicking between two column labels and dragging them left or right.
- Then click on "Print" and again on "Print" to get the directory in paper format.
An alternative is the ExPrint program, which is subject to a fee.
