Adjust vibration - how it works

If you want to set the vibration on your smartphone, you can do this on both iOS and Android. We show you how to activate, customize and switch off the vibration if necessary.

iOS: Set vibrations on iPhone, iPad, iPod and Apple Watch

• On iOS you can find the vibration management in the Settings app. There you can switch the vibration on and off if necessary. There you can also set different vibrations for different actions such as messages, mails and notices.
• You also have the option of creating your own vibration pattern. You can invent and save a sequence of vibrations of up to 10 seconds for the desired actions.
• Vibration can also be influenced on the Apple Watch. There you can increase or decrease the vibration. You are guaranteed not to miss any more messages.

Android: Set vibrations on the smartphone

• You can also completely deactivate the vibrations on Android smartphones. This can be done either in the settings or via the control center.
