VideoPad: insert watermark - does that work?
If you would like to watermark your videos in the "VideoPad" editing software, you can use an image or logo for this.
Mark films with watermarks with VideoPad
If you share your videos online, you certainly don't want them to be used without authorization. It is best to protect the films with a watermark. We show you how to do this in the video editing software VideoPad (test version 3.24).
- Open the desired video in VideoPad. Drag it into the storyboard and activate the film by clicking it once.
- Next, upload your logo or image that you want to use as a watermark. To do this, go to "Add File" in the "Clips" tab.
- Now drag & drop the loaded image into the storyboard as a new track above the film and expand it over the length of the film.
- The track with the picture is activated, now you have to convert it into a watermark. To do this, click on Effects in the "Clips" tab, then on "More Video Effects" and then on "Motion". In the "Motion" window, first change the size via "Scale". With "Position X" and Position Y "move the picture to the desired position. In our example it is the top left corner.
- To complete the creation of the watermark, go to the "Opacity" effect. You can find it again under "Effects" -> "More Video Effects". Now save your video and it is protected by an individual watermark. Of course you can also use a text as a brand. You do the same thing, but do not load an image at the beginning, but add the text.
