Transfer videos from iPhone to PC
If you want to transfer your videos or pictures from iPhone to your PC, you do not necessarily need iTunes or other software. We'll show you how it works with Windows board resources.
Transfer videos and pictures from iPhone to PC
- Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
- In most cases, a window with the label "Automatic playback" opens after a short time. Click on the "Open device to view files" option to access iPhone.
- If the window does not appear, you can alternatively press the "Windows" and "E" keys simultaneously so that the "computer" opens. There you can open your iPhone with a double click under "Portable Devices" (see picture).
- First open the "Internal Storage" folder and then "DCIM".
- Depending on how many image or video files you have on your phone, you will find one or more other folders here that are labeled with combinations of numbers and letters. Each of the folders contains parts of the photo and video collection.
- Search the folders until you find the video you want. You can copy this with a right click and paste it on your computer. Alternatively, drag it to the desired storage location with the mouse.
- Tip: By holding down the "Ctrl" or "Shift" key, you can simultaneously mark several images with the mouse and then copy them at once.
You can also transfer your music from iPhone to computer using programs such as "SharePod" or "CopyTrans Manager". It even works the other way around.
