Windows: How to display the virtual keyboard
In Windows, the virtual keyboard is called the "on-screen keyboard":
- You can find this by calling up the start menu at the bottom left and entering "on-screen keyboard" in the search field.
- Then click on the found hit "on-screen keyboard". The virtual Windows keyboard opens.
- If you cannot type due to a problem with your keyboard and therefore need the on-screen keyboard, you can also navigate there via the menu: Start> Programs> Accessories> Ease of use> On-screen keyboard.
If you use the virtual keyboard frequently, it is also worth taking a look at the free program "Free Virtual Keyboard" - In contrast to the Windows on-screen keyboard, this virtual keyboard can also be shown transparently.
