Virus: "Your browser has locked" - what to do?
"Your browser has blocked" is a virus that spreads to an open website and tries to blackmail you into paying a release ransom. Here you can find out how you can get rid of the annoying torment without tapping.
How to remove "Your browser has locked" virus
The virus settles on an open website and prevents you from closing the browser. The Trojan "Browlock" is a copycat and free-rider of the federal police virus. - Don't panic! They face less than five years in prison, as the Trojan claims. Neither "all computer activity has been recorded" nor "all your files are encrypted". "Violation of copyrights and property rights (video, music, software) and illegal software" is a bluff.
- In no way should you pay. The required payment method by paysafecard alone proves that fraudsters are at work here. Because with Paysafecard you pay anonymously.
- Close browser: You can outsmart the virus via Task Manager and still close your browser. The task manager opens with the key combination CTRL + ALT + DEL or CTRL + ALT + DEL. Click on "Start Task Manager", select the browser in the "Applications" tab on the left and close the process.
- A computer restart should fix the problem.
- To be on the safe side, you can still download AdwCleaner, scan your PC and have malicious software removed.
