Hide folders in Windows again
These instructions work with any Windows operating system from Windows XP - including Vista. Only the individual menu items are labeled differently from system to system. However, since the relevant buttons in the windows are always in the same place, you shouldn't have any problems with these instructions.
- First open any Windows window, e.g. B. "Computer".
- Click in the window with the left mouse button in the upper left corner on "organize" ("Tools" -> "Folder Options ...").
- In the small window click on "View".
- Scroll all the way down and look for the entry "Hidden files and folders".
- By default, the following entry is set here: "Do not show hidden files, folders and drives" ("Hide hidden files and folders"). To display the hidden folders and files, check the corresponding entry.
- Click "Ok" and the hidden folders will be shown slightly transparent.
