Vivaldi: Change download folder - how it works
By default, Vivaldi saves downloaded files in the "Download" folder on your computer. If you would like to be asked for the files in a different folder or every time Vivaldi saves files on your PC, you can change the download destination in the browser settings.
Change download folder in the Vivaldi browser
- Under Vivaldi, click the menu icon in the top left.
- In the context menu, move the mouse over the "Tools" option and then click on "Settings".
- Select the "Downloads" item in the tab on the left.
- You can now define a new download folder here. To do this, you have to copy the complete path into the text field. The new settings are saved automatically.
- If, on the other hand, you uncheck the "Always save files in the standard download folder" option, Vivaldi will always ask you where to save the file before downloading it.
