VLC Player: Create playlist - how it works
With the VLC Player you can easily create your own playlists. We'll show you exactly how it works.
Add songs to the VLC playlist using the context menu
You can already create a playlist without even starting the VLC player:
- To do this, right-click on a file and select the entry "Add to VLC media player playlist". How to add the song to the current playlist.
- You can also add multiple files to the playlist this way. To do this, mark the desired songs and select the corresponding item in the context menu.
Create playlist via VLC player
Alternatively, you can also create a playlist directly in the VLC player:
- Open the VLC player and switch to the "Playlist" with [CTRL] + [L] or in the menu via "Display".
- You can now insert the desired files into the playlist via "Media"> "Open file" or drag and drop them into the window.
- You can then save your playlist in the menu on your PC via "Media"> "Save playlist to file".
