VLC: YouTube stream does not work - this may be the reason

YouTube stream no longer works in VLC - what to do?
- The VLC player may be blocked by your firewall or the antivirus. Briefly switch off both services to test this.
- If playback then works without any problems, we will show you how to add VLC in the antivirus program and in your firewall.
- In order for the streaming to work without any problems, you should have installed the latest version of the VLC player.
- You should also make sure that the video is not set to "private" and is available in all countries.
- Make sure you've copied the correct video URL. To do this, right-click on the video on YouTube and select "Copy video URL". Then add this link to VLC.
- In some cases it can help if you swap "https" for "http" in the video URL before opening it with VLC.
