VMware: create backup - how it works
To create a backup, proceed as follows:
- First download and install the required VMware Data Recovery tool.
- Note: To open and install this file, you need a tool like ISOBuster.
- Start the VMware client after installing VMware Data Recovery and click on "Home"> "Applications"> "VMware Data Recovery"> "Connect".
- Then switch to the "Backup" tab and then click on "New".
- Give this backup a name and continue with "Next".
- You must then select the virtual machine that you want to back up.
- Then decide where you want to save the backup. At the end you still have to agree to the license agreement.
- You will then receive a summary. The backup is then made with "Next".
