Expand the hard disk of the virtual environment of the VMware Player
- Start the VMware Player on your computer.
- With a simple left click, select the operating system to which you want to allocate more storage space.
- On the right side under the specifications of the virtual environment you will find the item "Edit virtual machine settings".
- A new window appears with the settings of the VMware.
- Among other things, the "Hard Disk (SCSI)" option can be found under the "Hardware" tab
- On the right side you can see the current hard disk size and allocation.
- Below is the "Expand ..." button
- This allows you to set a different hard disk size and thus increase the storage space.
