Vodafone: No LTE anymore - it could be because of that
If you no longer receive an LTE connection in your Vodafone tariff, this can have various causes. We show you what it can be and what you can do.
Vodafone: No LTE or 4G anymore
- LTE is displayed differently depending on the smartphone model.
- LTE is not always shown as an LTE symbol in the top bar of the smartphone, but often also as 4G. This means that you will also receive LTE if 4G is there.
Vodafone: Check LTE network coverage
- If you cannot establish an LTE connection despite your Vodafone LTE tariff, it may be due to the network coverage. Then you may be in an area where Vodafone does not yet offer LTE.
- Vodafone offers a network coverage check on its website. You can use this address to check whether LTE is available in your area or at your current location.
Vodafone LTE: Enter correct APN settings
- Another problem can be incorrectly entered APN settings. This means that your smartphone cannot connect to the Internet. Check the settings, reset the APN or enter the following data if necessary.
- APN: web.vodafone.de; Proxy and port should be empty, username and password are also not necessary.
Use an LTE-compatible smartphone
- Check if your smartphone supports LTE at all. However, if you have already been able to establish an LTE connection in the past, this step is omitted.
- If all of the above steps do not help, contact Vodafone customer service and describe your problem in detail.
