Vodafone: Detect spam bill
Vodafone sends out supposed bills again and again. This article shows how you can tell whether the invoice is spam or genuine.
Vodafone? Detect spam bill
- If you receive an invoice from Vodafone by email, you should always be critical. Check both the content and the sender address for spelling errors and content errors.
- If you also receive an attachment in ZIP format, you should never open it. Invoices are usually sent directly as PDF and not packaged as a ZIP file. Viruses are usually found here.
- However, play it safe by checking the website on Vodafone.de. Simply log in to "MeinVodafone" and you will find all the invoices at the bottom right.
- Tip: Better look at the invoice at MeinVodafone instead of opening the invoice in the mail. You are guaranteed not to catch a virus.
