If you want to install a new processor on your board, you must first remove the residues of the old thermal paste.
- In theory, thermal grease can also be removed with household remedies such as nail polish removers. However, certain content can damage the hardware.

Remove thermal grease with cleaning kit
- Apply the liquid from bottle 1 carefully to the desired location. A few drops are sufficient in most cases. Do not let the liquid drip onto other hardware.
- Let the liquid soak in for a few minutes and then wipe it off. Household paper is best for this. You should not use handkerchiefs as the fibers can leave behind.
- Now apply the liquid from bottle 2. This time wipe off the liquid directly. The last remnants are also removed, and the material also receives corrosion protection.
