What does an Evernote premium account bring?
The Evernote cloud tool lets you access your notes from anywhere for free. With a premium account, you can expect even more benefits. This currently costs between 20 and 40 euros in the annual subscription. We'll show you exactly what you get for this money.
Evernote Deluxe - These premium features are waiting for you
Evernote currently offers three different account types: Basic, Plus and Premium. As a user of the free version, you have a basic account with all standard functions. With the Plus version for 19.99 euros per year, however, you can expect numerous privileges. Excessive users get the full range of features with Evernote Premium for 39.99 euros per year. The following functions stand out:
- Basic: As a free user, you can create and save any number of notes in Evernote. These can be synchronized with the free smartphone apps and shared with others. You have 60 MB of storage space.
- Plus: In addition to the basic functions, you get special premium features for around 20 euros a year: you can save your notes offline and edit them without an internet connection. In addition, the Evernote apps can be secured with a passcode lock. Particularly practical: Plus users can not only import and save notes, but also entire emails in Evernote. You have 1 GB of storage space available for your data.
- Premium: With almost 40 euros a year, Evernote Premium is not a bargain, but the features can convince. So you get unlimited storage space with the cloud service, show your notes in chic presentations and digitize business cards. Of course, all functions of the Plus version are also available.
Evernote on the go - a premium account also extends the smartphone apps
You can also benefit from the premium account on your smartphone or tablet - and not just in the official Evernote app. The main advantages are listed here.
- As a payment customer, you can manage and edit all your notes offline. As soon as your device is connected to the Internet, the note app synchronizes all changes with the server. In this way, ideas can also be recorded on a tablet or smartphone without an Internet flat rate.
- There are also a few extras waiting for you in the in-house "Penultimate" note app: You get free access to all available paper layouts. For example, sheet music can be used or checkered notebooks can be made with a certain box size.
- With the free app "Skitch" you can create versatile sketches in the free version. But if you have a premium account with Evernote, you can also edit PDFs here. For example, contracts can be filled in or text passages can be marked in eBooks.
Unfortunately, even premium users are not spared from bugs. The cloud service occasionally encounters synchronization errors. Here's how to counteract this problem.
