What is ChocoEUKor, CoolEUKor, RoseEUKor - simply explained
If you scroll through the list of installed Android apps, you may find names like chocoEUKor, coolEUKor or RoseEUKor. In this practical tip, we explain what these names are and whether you can remove the programs.
ChocoEUKor, CoolEUKor, RoseEUKor and Co. - that's what the apps mean
The apps with the names ChocoEUKor, CoolEUKor, RoseEUKor or similar are not dangerous. So it is neither a virus nor spyware on your smartphone.
- The apps, however, hide packages that contain additional fonts.
- They are installed on your smartphone by the manufacturers and are therefore on your mobile phone before delivery.
- Unfortunately, the packages can only be uninstalled if you have rooted your Android smartphone. You can then use applications like Titanium Backup to remove the applications.
- If you do not have root rights, you can only stop and deactivate the font packages. To do this, tap on the package in the application manager (see screenshot) and then on "Force stop" and "Deactivate". However, this is not really necessary.
