Tab - element of an internet browser
No matter whether Chrome, Firefox or Safari - you will find tabs in every browser. And that's hidden behind a tab:
- In principle, a tab is nothing more than a tab.
- In this, like in a card index, you can store or display something.
- For example, you can have several websites open at the same time and only have to change the tab to see the corresponding page.
- In most browsers, the tabs are listed at the top of the screen.
- In browsers, tabs replace additional browser windows. In the past, you always had to switch between several browser windows - today you switch between the tabs and always see which pages you have opened in parallel.
