What is PostPay? Easily explained
PostPay is an online payment system from Deutsche Post that you can use to pay in many shops - without having to register. In this practical tip, we will tell you what the advantages of this method are and how PostPay works.
PostPay - what is it?
- With Deutsche Post's new online payment method, you can pay in all participating online shops without registration.
- This means: If you pay with PostPay, you do not have to store any data with the online shop. Instead, choose PostPay as the payment method and the goods will be sent to the address specified in your PostPay account with DHL.
- You can order in many different online shops without having to create an account.
- With the PostPay account itself, a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx), direct debit, advance payment, PayPal or instant transfer can be selected as payment or an invoice address can be stored.
How does PostPay work?
- If you want to order something from an online shop that offers PostPay, select the payment method in the ordering process.
- You will then be redirected to the PostPay website. There you log in and select your delivery address and a payment method. If you do not have an account, you can set up a new one for free here.
- The delivery will then be made by DHL, you will receive the invoice from PostPay. The shop only receives the data needed to send the goods.
