When you play online games on your console or PC, you will always come across "PVP". We explain what this is in this practical tip.
PVP Player Versus Player
- PVP is the abbreviation of player versus player and means "player against player" in German.
- Playing an online game means that you are in a PVP match against another player or even against an entire team.
- Such PVP matches typically take place in online role-playing games such as World of Warcraft or Guild Wars.
- There are different types of PVP. So there are z. B. the "arena mode", in which two teams compete against each other in a limited area. The most common form is the Open PVP variant. You move through an open game world and can attack any other player or avoid confrontation.
