What is tidal? Explained in a simple and understandable way
When it comes to music streaming, terms such as Spotify and Tidal are often used. We'll show you what it is and how the music service Tidal works.
Tidal - what can the service do? It is explained here
- Tidal is a high quality music streaming service. Get unlimited access to millions of songs and albums for a monthly fee.
- Unlike competitors like Spotify, Tidal also offers various music videos. The service is currently only available in English. More information can be found in Spotify vs. Tidal comparison.
- Tidal is available in the browser and on the smartphone: Simply download the Tidal app for iOS or Tidal for Android. You can also stream the songs in CD quality on your home hi-fi system
- Not only can you listen to your favorite songs and discover new songs and albums, you can also collect and sort your music in playlists. You can download the songs on your smartphone and listen to them offline later.
Tidal: It costs the service
- Unfortunately, Tidal does not offer a free version. Services like Spotify and Deezer offer their music collection free of charge in connection with advertising. You can try Tidal for free for 30 days.
- For around 10 euros per month, Tidal gives you unlimited access to all songs and videos. This is roughly the same as the price you pay for other music straming portals.
- True music fans can also use Tidal to perfection on the hi-fi system: for EUR 19.99 a month you get an even better sound quality.
In the next post we show how you can easily cancel your trial month at Tidal.
