Use hydrogen peroxide against pimples - how it works
Hydrogen peroxide is a real all-rounder and also helps against pimples. In this article we show what the home remedy does for blemishes and how to use it correctly.
Hydrogen peroxide against pimples - this is how the home remedy works
Hydrogen peroxide acts against pimples in a variety of ways.
- The disinfectant property of the substance makes it useful for pimples and blemishes.
- Purulent pimples result from the fact that bacteria penetrate the skin pores and mix there with the sebum. Hydrogen peroxide effectively kills these bacteria.
- This cleaning effect can then prevent pimples from forming. For this reason, some skin care products contain hydrogen peroxide.
- If the pimple has already formed, the home remedy not only helps with disinfection, it also dries out the pimple.
- If you squeeze out a pimple, a small wound will appear. Here, too, hydrogen peroxide helps with cleaning and disinfection. The pimple heals faster.
- Important : Use only hydrogen peroxide with a maximum concentration of three percent. Highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide is corrosive and leads to skin injuries.
- But you should also use three percent hydrogen peroxide wisely. Under no circumstances should the product get into or on the eyes.
Skin care for pimples with hydrogen peroxide - this is how you proceed
Using hydrogen peroxide is easy if you follow the guidelines. This means that you should only use a maximum of three percent hydrogen peroxide to avoid skin damage.
- To treat a pimple, dab it with hydrogen peroxide several times a day.
- The easiest way to do this is to use cotton swabs.
- You can treat with hydrogen peroxide both with a closed pimple and with a pimple that has already been squeezed out.
- Tip : Wait a little after the hydrogen peroxide treatment before applying any cream on your face. Then the agent can best develop its effect.
