Update WD My Cloud - Here's how
- Open the configuration interface of your WD My Cloud in the browser. You can do this by entering the IP address of your NAS in the address field.
- Click on "Settings" at the top of the horizontal menu and then on "Firmware update" in the menu on the left.
- Here you can obtain new updates via the Internet by clicking on the "Check for updates" button. However, please note that all data transfers are canceled during an update.
- If you want to update your My Cloud system manually, click on "Update from file" and upload an image file from your computer.
- If Western Digital provides a firmware update for your My Cloud, you will also see this on the home page under the device information. Clicking on this message will take you to an update dialog.
