Web.de: Block sender address - how it works
You can block certain sender addresses at Web.de, for example if the spam filter did not correctly recognize some emails. Our instructions show the individual steps.
Block sender address on Web.de
Instead of actively blocking an address, you can create a filter that deletes mails from a specific address directly:
- Open the "Settings"> "To the settings" in Web.de. Under "Folders" you will find the "Filter rules".
- Now you can create a filter as shown in the (picture). Instead of looking for a sender directly, you can of course search for a subject. But for this purpose it is best to select "Sender" from the dropdown menu behind "Field".
- In the "Filter" field, press "Is" for an exact match or "Contains" if only a certain character string should be included.
- In "Action" enter "Delete immediately". If you would like to restore the mail after all, you can only select "Move email to trash folder".
In the next article we will show you how to set up a read receipt at Web.de.
