Web.de: Add attachments is not - why is that?

Upload fails: Maintenance work at Web.de
If you cannot add your attachment to the email, the problem usually lies with Web.de. In many cases, the provider is currently performing maintenance work.

Email attachment is too big for Web.de.
At Web.de your attachments must not exceed a certain size:
- As a freemail user, you can send files with a maximum size of four MB. The limit for premium users is 50 MB.
- Instead of sending the large attachments directly, you can use cloud storage such as Dropbox or Skydrive.
Browser blocks the attachments to Web.de
It can also happen that your browser does not allow the upload. The button is often grayed out or Web.de simply does not add the attachments to the mail.
- First try to update the web.de page. To do this, press the [F5] key.
