Web.de forgot password - what to do?

Request a new password on web.de - this will be expensive!
Forgetting the password for the web.de account is not that bad. You can reset your password with just a few clicks:
- On the homepage of web.de you will find "Forgot password" under the input field for the password.
- After you have entered your email address or username under "Forgot password", you will be informed of a chargeable number (0900 1932330). The hotline will cost you EUR 3.99 from the German landline.
Alternative solution: Password saved in the browser
Nowadays you can save passwords in the browser. In an emergency, you don't have to use the expensive Web.de service:
- Open the settings in Firefox and select the "Security" option. You will see the "Saved passwords" tab below. If you open the search for "web.de". Now you can have the password displayed by clicking on the "Show passwords" tab and confirming the project.
