Remove webdiscover - how it works
If you find the Webdiscover browser on your computer, you should remove it immediately. It is not a virus, but the exact dangers cannot be assessed yet. We show you step by step how to get rid of webdiscover.
Remove Webdiscover: Virus or Software?
- Webdiscover is a browser based on the well-known Google Chrome browser. Webdiscover already contains some useful tools such as a VPN manager.
- However, Webdiscover usually gets unnoticed by installing other free software on your PC. Webdiscover does not therefore end up on users' computers voluntarily.
- How dangerous webdiscover really is remains unclear. Placing your own advertising or unwanted forwarding to certain websites would be conceivable.
Instructions: Remove Webdiscover from Windows
- First open the Control Panel and select the "Programs" category.
- Under "Programs and Features" you will now find all installed programs.
- Sort the list above by the installation date and look for the entry Webdiscover.
- Select it with the mouse and click on the "Uninstall" button at the top.
- Then check all other programs that have been installed in the past few days and weeks. Remove all other dubious entries. If you do not know without a doubt whether a program is superfluous or necessary, do a Google search first.
- Tip: You can remove the last remnants of web discovers with the free AdwCleaner. Start the tool without installation, run a scan and remove all finds.
