Translate website with Google - how it works
This practical tip shows you how you can quickly and easily translate websites with Google.
Translate websites with Google
The easiest way is to have websites translated with Google Translator. To do this, first go to the Google website. Then do the following to translate a webpage:
- Enter the website you want to translate into the Google search box and click on "Google search".
- Then press "Translate this page" to the right of the search result. The website is then called up and automatically translated. Below the search bar you can select the language into which the website should be translated.
- Alternatively, you can copy the sections from a website that you want to translate and then paste them into "Google Translate". Here, too, you can choose between different languages.
Automatically translate websites with Google Chrome
If you surf with your own Google Chrome, you can enjoy automatic website translation. The browser recognizes foreign domains and automatically displays a translation bar below the search bar (see picture). With a click on "Translate" the complete website is translated into the desired language.
