Christmas punch with cinnamon sticks - that's how you make the holiday cocktail yourself
The new trend drink glow-gin is spreading more and more - but if you like it more classic, you are well served with a delicious mulled wine or punch. We present a simple recipe with alcohol that you can quickly mix for your guests on the holidays. That's how it's done:
- Boil a liter of black tea and then put it in a saucepan.
- Add two liters of red wine and 250 milliliters of schnapps and stir the whole thing.
- Add the juice of two oranges and lemons each. If you want, you can also use ready-made lemon and orange juice. If you opt for the fresh product, the organic bowls can also be cooked for a more intense taste.
- Add around 400 grams of sugar and a little rum and two cinnamon sticks.
- Stir everything and warm the cocktail on the stove. Make sure that it only gets a little warm and does not boil. The Christmas punch can then be served immediately.
Fruity Christmas cocktail
If you like it a bit more fruity, you can make a Christmas cocktail yourself, which is refined with cranberry juice and pomegranate in addition to orange juice. We show you how easy it is to prepare this alcoholic beverage:
- Remove the seeds from the pomegranate and then juice the fruit.
- Mix the seeds and juice with 100 milliliters of cranberry and 400 milliliters of orange juice and the juice of a fresh lime.
- Add 12 centiliters of vodka and Cointreau and 600 milliliters of carbonated water.
- If you like, you can serve this Christmas cocktail with ice cubes or crushed ice despite ice temperatures and garnish with mint leaves.

- You can garnish the whole thing as you like, such as with freshly whipped cream, grated chocolate or a little cocoa powder.
