Print Christmas paper yourself - how it works
Christmas paper gives your Christmas gift a special touch. You can also print this out yourself without any major problems. Our instructions show you the exact steps.
1. Print out Christmas paper yourself - the right format
Before you can print out your Christmas paper yourself, you must first select the correct format.
- Most printers only support A4, sometimes up to A3. As a rule, however, only small gifts such as a CD can be packaged with this.
- If you want to pack bigger things, you have to have them printed in a print shop or online in larger formats. Online print shops that can print up to A0 are recommended ("poster"). However, large formats are usually quite expensive.
2. Pick out Christmas paper for printing
Now you have to select the Christmas paper you want with your favorite motif. There are various pages that have already designed Christmas paper and provide this free of charge.
- Peppiclip.de offers a beautiful, colorful and large selection. On several pages you will find colorful and gold-yellow patterns to wrap your presents. If you want to print with a golden color, you can specify this as an extra color at some printing companies.
- You can find another selection with nice Christmas motifs, including fir trees and Santa stockings at kikisweb.de.
3. Print out Christmas paper
Now that you have selected your format and the Christmas paper you want, you can start printing. Here's how it works on your home printer:
- Open a new Word document, or alternatively an OpenOffice document.
- Download the Christmas paper you want and paste it into the document.
- Adjust the size of the page so that it is completely filled.
- You can then print out the document yourself.
- The paper becomes particularly good if your printer supports borderless printing.
