What file systems does the PS4 support?

In order for the PS4 to recognize your USB sticks, they must have the right file systems. In this article we explain which the console supports.

• Just like its predecessor, the PS4 supports USB sticks and external hard drives in FAT32 format. Support for exFAT has been added.
• However, you cannot use NTFS systems.
• Therefore you have to format your USB sticks before you can use them with your console.
